Providing Hebrew Interpretation Services On Site and Remotely

We’re excited to offer you the ability to seamlessly communicate with Hebrew speakers.

Hebrew boasts one of the most interesting histories of any language in the world. Did you know that the language was extinct as a spoken language for around 1,500 years before a remarkably successful revival movement in the late 18th century brought the language back? Between 200 and 400 CE, Hebrew was overtaken by Aramaic, relegating the iconic Jewish language to the ranks of a solely liturgical language. But today, it’s the native language of more than half the nation of Israel.

Around 53% of Israelis speak Hebrew as their first language, with more than 90% of inhabitants in the country speaking the language proficiently. Israelis are less proficient in English, however, and while many young Israelis have learned the de facto international language, Hebrew remains the key to communication in Israel. At, we understand that—which is why we’ve put together a hard-working Hebrew interpretation team to help you communicate with locals in Israel. With team members located all over the country, accessing quality Hebrew interpretation services has never been easier.

Hebrew: the language that came back from the dead

Hebrew is the only truly successful example of language revival, though other formerly extinct languages (e.g., Manx or Cornish) are making a comeback in other parts of the world, too. Today, roughly 9 million people worldwide speak Hebrew, including 5 million who’ve learned it as their native language. The language is an important cultural relic to Israelis and Jewish people from all around the world, attracting many learners even from outside Israel.

Coming from the Semitic language family, Hebrew is related to Arabic, but not all that closely. It’s the only living language on the Canaanite branch, with Aramaic and Ugaritic dying out centuries ago (though Aramaic lives on today as Neo-Aramaic). Hebrew expresses grammatical cases through particles rather than inflection, but that doesn’t mean the language is inflection-free, with nouns changing for the construct state (possessed form). Hebrew verbs also follow the same trilateral root part as in Arabic, in which roots consist of patterns of three consonants that are then manipulated in various ways to express information about the tense, aspect, mood, and person. So, learning Hebrew isn’t very easy—but ordering our Hebrew interpretation services is.

Let us interpret between Hebrew and English for you—anywhere in the world.

We want to make sure you have access to great Hebrew interpretation services, no matter where you are. We do this in two different ways: through both on-site and online interpretation services.

Suppose you’re in Israel—anywhere in Israel. With our large team of skilled and experienced Hebrew interpreters stretching across the Levantine nation, we definitely have a Hebrew interpreter in your area who would be eager to help. If you’re not in Israel, we still might have someone near you—and if we don’t, that’s what planes are for (though you’ll have to pay extra to have us fly an interpreter out to you).

An alternative option is to take advantage of our remote Hebrew interpretation services. Since it doesn’t matter where in the world you are as long as you have a strong internet connection, our remote Hebrew interpretation services are highly convenient. Invite our interpreter to your Zoom meeting room, your Skype group, or your telephone conference call—whatever medium you prefer, our interpreter will happily provide real-time Hebrew interpretation services remotely.

Choosing between simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services in Hebrew

Which is better for you: simultaneous or consecutive interpretation services in Hebrew? You can choose either, but it’s important to let us know which you prefer.

For big meetings with a lot of different participants speaking various languages, such as a large multilingual conference, or for one-way communications such as speeches or presentations, simultaneous interpretation services are better, since the interpreter isn’t playing a role in the conversation. Rather, they interpret at the same time that the original speaker talks, with their interpreted speech directed to the audience through headphones tuned into the given language.

For smaller meetings with a manageable number of participants, consecutive interpretation services are often preferable. Saying only one or two sentences at a time and waiting for the interpreter to translate the information for your conversational partners may take time and harm the natural flow of the conversation, but giving the interpreter more time to consider their translation and offering them the opportunity to ask for clarification makes for a more accurate and dynamic Hebrew interpretation experience.

Technical content is no problem for our Hebrew interpretation experts.

Dealing with complex topics and technical jargon? If your content touches on subjects and vocabulary that a normal Hebrew speaker wouldn’t understand, that’s okay—our team is diverse enough that we probably have an interpreter with expertise in your field. Simply relay your specifications to us, and we’ll get to work scouting out the most suitable Hebrew interpreter for the job.

Ready to break down the language barrier and connect with Hebrew speakers in Israel or around the world? Our interpreters are ready to help—so why not shoot us a message today?
